We’re Langton and Megan, the husband-and-wife chandlers behind The Dainty Dish Candle Co. Married since 2019 and raising three beautiful children, our home has always been filled with warmth, intention, and a love for thoughtfully curated spaces.

Megan has long loved the glow of a candle—flickering in the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom, anywhere it could bring a sense of comfort. One evening, surrounded by her hand-selected vintage décor, she realized the generic candle glass on the counter didn’t belong. It didn’t tell a story. She shared that frustration with Langton, wondering how much more meaningful the space could feel if the candle itself carried beauty and character.

Langton, ever the researcher, got to work—studying the art of candle making from vintage vessels to wax types, proper pouring techniques, and fragrance blending. What began as curiosity quickly turned into passion. Soy wax became the clear choice in our home for its natural qualities and clean burn, and Megan especially loved how the fragrances could double as gentle hand oils.

From that moment, The Dainty Dish Candle Co. was born—where each candle is thoughtfully crafted to feel as beautiful as the space it lives in, and every piece tells a story worth lighting
